The largest in Russia and one of the largest in the world Railway Museum was opened in Saint-Petersburg on October 30. The opening of the museum is dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the Russian Railways. The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov, the head of JSC «Russian Railways» Oleg Belozerov, the governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko, the honorary railwaymen. The new museum is located on the territory of the former locomotive depot of the Baltic Terminal.
The museum exposition covers an area of ​​more than 16,000 square meters, and the collection of rolling stock totals 115 units.
The exhibition is complemented by modern interactive and multimedia installations. In the museum under the open sky, is possible to see an impressive amount of special equipment, from passenger cars and the railway artillery system to the pre-revolutionary service car of the Chinese Eastern Railway and the railway missile complex.

BCM-2000 to the demonstration at the open exposition of the Museum. A unique domestic engineering development was created at the Tula plant and was previously presented at the IV International Fair of Railway Equipment and technologies in Shcherbinka in September this year.
